Art in the neighbourhood

Commissioned by housing corporation Stadgenoot and District New West have Mirjam Bakker and Wil van Blokland along with residents of the “Eendrachtsparkbuurt” in Amsterdam a path and banks of bottlecaps realized around the vegetable garden "Valley of the Wind" at the Wigbolt Ripperdastraat, Geuzeveld, Amsterdam

After months of saving and collecting plastic bottlecaps in the “Eendrachtsparkbuurt” is now a cheerful picnic spot and stepping stones path made of thousands of bottlecaps.
